NEW YORK – CBS newsmagazine show 60 Minutes has aired its much-anticipated tell-all interview with Stormy Daniels, the porn star alleging an affair with President Donald Trump, and it was a doozy!
As was already revealed, the 2006 tryst reportedly began at a hotel during a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada, when current first lady Melania Trump was very much in the picture, and her son with the president, Barron Trump, was just three months old.
Further details airing in the adult film star’s interview with Anderson Cooper were both lurid and shocking.
Firstly, Daniels confirmed that she had unprotected sex with Trump, and that she administered a spanking with a magazine on which Trump himself was featured on the cover.
“[H]e turned around and pulled his pants down a little—you know had underwear on and stuff—and I just gave him a couple swats,” Daniels relayed.
Perhaps more disturbing is Trump telling Daniels at the time that she “reminded him” of his daughter Ivanka Trump.
Apparently the “affair” was actually just a one-off, although the two did meet again at Trump’s request in 2007 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Ostensibly, the meeting was discuss the possibility of Daniels appearing on Trump’s TV show Celebrity Apprentice, an offer he dangled (among other things) before the actress at their 2006 rendezvous as well.
“I remember arriving, and he was watching Shark Week,” Daniels said of the odd meeting. “He made me sit and watch an entire documentary about shark attacks.”
Trump, according to Daniels, tried to initiate another sexual encounter, though she demurred this time and left without anything further happening. (Perhaps unsurprisingly, she was informed by Trump shortly thereafter that there would be no Apprentice appearance.)
When Daniels first spoke to the press in 2011 about the 2006 incident, she was approached by a strange man who threatened her to keep quiet outside of her exercise class.
“He walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’”
The man also commented on Daniels’s infant daughter, saying, “That’s a beautiful little girl. It would be a shame if something happened to her mom.”
“I was rattled,” Daniels said. “I remember going into the workout class. And my hands are shaking so much, I was afraid I was gonna drop her.”
Daniels did mostly keep quiet about the affair, and—of course—has claimed that Trump and his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, attempted to further influence her during the presidential campaign with a payment of $130,000 of hush money, a distribution which Cohen—somewhat dubiously—says came from his own personal funds.
Daniels and her attorney, Michael Avenatti, have challenged the associated non-disclosure agreement in Los Angeles Superior Court on various grounds, not the least of which is that self-proclaimed master-businessman Trump neglected to sign it.
Of the affair itself, Daniels says she regarded it mainly as a business deal of sorts, and was unambiguous in her assertion that she was not attracted to Trump.
It’s still unclear how this lecherous and distasteful behavior from the current commander-in-chief contributes to making America great again.
