BOCA RATON — The Boca Raton house that’s been retired Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cris Carter’s home for more than 20 years is being sold by his ex-wife, and it could be yours for $2.3 million.

Hall-of-Famer Carter, 52, recently signed on the dotted line of a confidential divorce settlement with his wife of 27 years, Melanie Carter.

Within days of the uncoupling, Melanie got the deed to their marital home at 2493 NW 46th Street in the Patch Reef Estates’ Les Jardins neighborhood of Central Boca and put it on the market.

And the lady stands to make a mint: She and the former Minnesota Vikings star bought the 7-bedroom mansion in 1996 for $935,000, property records show.

It’s all paid up and waiting for the right buyer to make Melanie a millionaire!

The former ball player, an ordained minister, couldn’t be reached for comment, and his lawyer isn’t replying to requests for comment.

Currently a star of the silly morning show First Things First on Fox Sports 1, Carter filed against his wife in 2016 in a Palm Beach County family court.

According to records, they were married in 1990 and have been living in the Boca area since. They have two adult children, including Duron Carter, a wide receiver toiling in the Canadian Football League.

The divorce seemed relatively routine at first, but things became much more unpleasant last year.

Unhappy with Cris’ release of financial records, Melanie started peppering the once sure-handed Carter and previous employers, including ESPN, with subpoenas.

Melanie seemed particularly keen on obtaining information about the 2012 sale of Cris’ security company, an Atlanta-based outfit he owned with his brothers. Melanie also claimed she discovered Cris has been spending money that she claimed belonged to the marital pot.

“The wife has been a good and loving spouse,” her counter-petition read, “who labored diligently as (Cris’) companion, confidant, business partner and homemaker.”

Cris Carter retired as a Fin in 2002 after picking up just eight receptions that season.
