WELLINGTON — Rocker Billy Joel, who has always favored waterfront living with mansions in Miami Beach and up the coast in Manalapan, is shifting his real estate focus further west.

Joel just bought a huge horse ranch in Wellington, and he even started showing up at celebrity-heavy equestrian functions in the horse-crazy village.

And, a source close to his latest purchase says, it’s all about making fourth wife Alexis Roderick happy!

“This purchase was all about her,” the source said. “She owns horses. She rides. She wanted a place for herself.”

According to Palm Beach County property records, the singer of Uptown Girl and Allentown paid $3.5 million cash for five acres at 14190 Palm Beach Point Boulevard on Jan. 25.

The property was described in real estate listings as a “beautifully maintained five-acre farm” a short distance from Wellington’s Winter Equestrian Festival, a three-month event that has become one of the country’s largest equestrian events.

And the ranch is designed for horses that specialize in dressage, where animal and rider are expected to perform pre-determined movements and walks from memory. Which, no doubt, explains why the training grounds on Joel’s new playground are lined with large outdoors mirrors.

Yep, mirrors!

The property also includes a 12-stall barn with groom quarters, a tack room, five paddocks, and the regulation-sized dressage ring.

The deed shows the buyer is a limited liability corporation called Littlesea Farm South, a company created two weeks before the purchase that lists no owner.

The registered agent is Wellington lawyer Frank Gonzalez, who’s been known to help high-profile clients set up secret land ownership deals. He didn’t return a call and email requesting comment.

Craig Galle, the agent for the corporation that sold to Joel, confirmed the buyer was Littlesea Farm but said he didn’t know who’s behind it.

“Billy wanted to double the size of his property in Wellington,” said our source, who asked to remain anonymous.

Indeed, real estate records show another company tied to Joel bought 14150 Palm Beach Point Boulevard for $3.628 million in April 2016.

That property includes a barn for another 18 dressage horses.

The singer, by the way, is still trying to sell adjacent beachfront properties about 12 miles to the east in Manalapan. He grabbed those for a total $18.3 million in 2014. The nine-bedroom, nine-bathroom behemoth has been for sale for more than year and is now listed for $16.9 million.

Meanwhile, Joel and Roderick were spotted in the VIP tables at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center Saturday to watch the showjumping of the Winter Equestrian Festival.

Fellow rocker Bruce Springsteen was also in attendance Saturday to watch his daughter Jessica Springsteen compete. Unfortunately, the Boss left before Joel arrived.

Other swells who haunt the VIP pavilion at the event include billionaire Microsoft found Bill Gates, the family of deceased Apple boss Steve Jobs and Fox Business Network star Lou Dobbs.

Joel’s wife, 35, is a former Morgan Stanley executive who owns several horses and is an accomplished rider. At one point, she was active in the U.S. Equestrian Federation.

Roderick and Joel were married in 2015 by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
