MIAMI — The uber-photogenic Beckhams have made the most of their New Year’s Miami getaway, sharing their escapades with fans on social media.
The fashionable clan, lead by parents David, 43, and Victoria, 43, enjoyed fun in the sun with their brood, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15 and Cruz, 12, and Harper, 6. On Sunday, the troop headed to the beach for a quick dip, which was followed by a formal dinner out on the town and a UB40 concert.
After seeing Brooklyn off to college in New York last September, the year-end vacation has been a chance for the photogenic troop to reunite. Dressed casually, yet stylishly, the sextet shared their upscale adventures on Instagram, including a father and daughter outing, which saw young Harper at the wheel of a golf cart with her famous Dad. Victoria, who uploaded the pic, wrote, “Someone loves her daddy! #drivingmissharper kisses x @davidbeckham.”
Cruz, the youngest of the Beckham men, shared a dinner pic with his 1 million followers, wishing everyone a “Happy new year! Thank you all for an amazing year!”
The Beckhams welcomed 2018 with a spa day, which left Victoria wondering what was happening to her hubby as the masseuse walked on his back. The fashion maven asked her fans after she posted pics of the massage, “What is this man doing on my husband?”
“Now it’s a plank!” she wrote as the masseuse hovered above her better half.
This is the second year in a row that the Beckhams have chosen Miami as their New Year’s destination. It’s no secret that it is Victoria’s favorite holiday. The Spice Girl told Vogue magazine, “I love New Year’s Eve. We always spend New Year’s Eve with the children, and my kids know how to party. Last year, I mean goodness they stayed up so late, they really are party animals. It’s a good time to get a little bit dressed up and let your hair down, have some fun and just go for it.”
Miami may see more of the famous family as David prepares this year to debut his Major League Soccer expansion team, which he co-owns with brothers Jorge and Jose Mas, co-founder and chairman of the board of MasTec; Masayoshi Son, the founder and CEO of SoftBank; Marcelo Claure, the founder of Brightstar and Simon Fuller, an entertainment exec.
Hopefully, we can expect more family photos of these glamorous Brits in South Florida.
