WEST PALM BEACH — An aging light-colored Mazda Tribute SUV is being sought by West Palm Beach police in connection with a hit-and-run crash Sunday night just east of CityPlace, and only Gossip Extra has the photos.
The sport-ute took out two pedestrians leaving CityPlace through the corner of Quadrille Boulevard and Hibiscus Street about 9:30 p.m. Cops say the vehicle was southbound on Quadrille.
One of the victims died at the scene and the other is in critical condition at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Both are believed to be tourists from Tennessee, a police source told Gossip Extra exclusively.
Police say the Mazda is expected to have substantial windshield damage, and possibly possibly busted left-front headlight and fog light.
Witnesses told police the driver looked like a middle-aged female with close-cropped hair was at the wheel of a Tribute made between 2008 and 2011.
