ST. PETERSBURG — St. Petersburg native Ariane Bellamar has added her name to the list of women accusing Hollywood big shots of sexual harassment or assault.
In a Twitter rant, Bellamar accused Entourage actor Jeremy Piven of grabbing her without her consent.
“Hey @jeremypiven! ‘Member when you cornered me in your trailer on the #Entourage set? ‘Member grabbing my boobies on the without asking??” she wrote. “Member when I tried to leave; you grabbed me by the ass, looked at yourself in the mirror, & said what a ‘beautiful couple’ we made?”
She went on to add, “Jeremy Piven, on two occasions, cornered me & forcefully fondled my breasts & bum. Once at the [Playboy] mansion & once on set.”
Though Bellamar has no credit listed on IMDB for appearing in Entourage, she claims that she was taken to Piven’s trailer on set by an assistant.
“I was led to @jeremypiven’s trailer by a young, blonde woman w/a clipboard (I presumed a PA) to discuss my ‘career’. My ‘potential.’”
HBO denies any knowledge of this incident and has released a statement stating:
“Today, via the press reports, is the first we are hearing about Ariane Bellamar’s allegations concerning Jeremy Piven. Everyone at HBO and our productions is aware that zero tolerance for sexual harassment is our policy. Anyone experiencing an unsafe working environment has several avenues for making complaints that we take very seriously.”
Piven also released a statement denying the allegations.
“I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being peddled about me,” Piven said. “It did not happen. It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn’t happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard.”
Social media is aflutter with the story, with Bellamar being roundly attacked for speaking out. She does have a few supporters though.
Bellamar has appeared as herself on a number of reality shows, including The Millionaire Matchmaker and Beverly Hills Nannies. Her last film appearances have been uncredited roles in Suicide Squad and The Hangover Part III.
This year, she was dropped from a Canadian reality show on which she was scheduled to give birth due to an unanticipated emergency caesarean. After being fired, she wrote on Twitter, ““My #pregnancy is not a storyline, my unborn child is not a prop!“ and threatened to picket the show in her “Louboutin heels.”
In 2014, she accused the CEO of Entropic Communications Patrick Henry of assaulting her at the Sundance Film Festival. She shared pictures with the press of her bruises and alleged that she had been beaten up by Henry during a drunken fight.
“He started doing shots…and became very jealous of the attention his friends were paying me. I told him I wanted to leave [but] he did not. I took a cab back to the cabin, inadvertently locked the door behind me and went to bed,” she said at the time. “He then proceeded to throw me multiple times into the concrete walls of the garage. I am bloodied and bruised all up and down my left side of my body and… right side. It was terrifying. As I was laying bloody on his garage floor, I thought “Oh my God, I’m going to die here.” This is what you see on TV. I am not that person,”
Henry was eventually charged with assault by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
A spokesperson for the tech tycoon released a response stating, “The statements made by Ms Bellamar are not consistent with the facts. Mr Henry did not attack or assault her. Ms Bellamar had been drinking heavily and was intoxicated before dinner; she continued to drink during and after dinner. We are confident that when the facts come out, they will validate that Mr. Henry neither attacked nor assaulted her.”
In June of 2014, Henry was found guilty of assault and sentenced to 40 hours of community service and a $400 fine, as well as alcohol treatment and anger management.
There’s no word yet if charges will be filed against Piven. Last night, Bellamar shared pictures of herself with the caption, “#HAPPYHALLOWEEN! This year I’m going as ‘the hoe that deserved to be sexually assaulted ‘cause she showed her cleavage’! #slutshaming #MeToo.”
