ORLANDO — US National Team forward and Women’s World Cup champion Alex Morgan got herself booted from the Magic Kingdom this weekend, along with Orlando City players Giles Barnes and Donny Toia.
Morgan, who also plays for Orlando Pride in the National Women’s Soccer League, was kicked out of pub in the U.K. section of Epcot center after she and some of the half a dozen other Major League Soccer players she was hanging out with got a little too rowdy, according to published reports.
And not only were they kicked out of the bar Sunday night, they were kicked out of the park!
Apparently, the players and their group of friends, who according to an Instagram post from Morgan, were on their annual “Around the world in 8 hours,” got into an argument with another group of people.
And, true to how things often happen pubs in the UK, things got a little heated.
Ultimately, the Orange County Sheriff’s office was called in to break things up.
Now we’re still not sure exactly who was at the pub when the fuzz came, but we do know that at the very least, Orlando City players Seb Hines, Dom Dwyer, Dylan Powers, Erik Ustruck and Joe Bendik, had been there when the “world tour” began.
In the end, it was Morgan, Barnes, Toia and Toia’s wife Courtney who got the big boot from the mouse.
A couple of comments on Morgan’s page made it clear that folks, some who’d also posted their own pics from the Magic Kingdom that day, weren’t fans of her behavior!
One Instagram user who goes by the name Katie23 wrote: “Profanity doesn’t have a place in a family amusement park. Young ears are listening. Epcot made the right call.”
But, this shows there may be a little problem in the Orlando City club with partying too much, not to mention the one they have with losing too much!
In June, Orlando City star Cyle Larin was picked up for DUI.
