MIAMI — Almost a year into their less-than-amicable separation, Scottie and Larsa Pippen have decided to give it another shot. Again.
The former Chicago Bull, 51, and his ex-Real Housewife of Miami, 43, were spotted yesterday getting his and her manicures in Beverly Hills. In April, the power couple were planning on moving forward with the divorce after 19 years of marriage, but things have taken a turn for the better since they left Miami for L.A., where son Scottie Jr. is enrolled in the prestigious Sierra Canyon High School basketball program.
The couple has been on a roller coaster ride since announcing their separation last October. After agreeing to move forward with the split in April, they reconciled in June and broke up again in August. Now, they have decided to hit the pause button again on their $120 million divorce to “work things out.”
The Pippens tied the knot in Chicago in 1997 and have four children, Sophia, Justin, Preston, and Scottie Jr. Last year, the six-time NBA champ, was rumored to have accused Larsa of cheating on him with hip-hop star Future. He claimed irreconcilable differences and requested “ultimate responsibility” of their four kids in his divorce filing.
Larsa responded with a claim that the couple had signed a revocation of their 1997 prenuptial agreement on November 5, 2015. She requested a 50-50 split of the couple’s assets and shared custody of the children, as well as child support and alimony. The couple, who has a history of intense disputes, called the cops on two separate occasions last year as a result.
In February, the family was spotted on a vacation, and in April, Larsa joined Kim Kardashian, Brittny Gastineau and Stephanie Shepherd in Mexico to celebrate BFF Kourtney Kardashian’s 38th birthday. Soon after, in August, she moved in with Kourtney in Calabasas. Since then, she’s been traveling back and forth from L.A. to Florida where the kids live.
Fingers crossed that the Pippens make it to Christmas.
