MIAMI BEACH — A star of the now-defunct The Real Housewives of Miami faces the loss of her home of 13 years.

Alexia Echevarria, a magazine publisher known on the Bravo reality fare as “the Cuban Barbie,” has been slapped with a foreclosure lawsuit by BankUnited.

According to the filing, the institution claims Echevarria stopping making payments in February on the mortgage on her home at 1175 North Shore Drive, near the Normandy golf course in Miami Beach.

The Miami Lakes bank now wants $1,636,385.82, including interests, or the house will be sold at auction whether Alexia wants it or not.

The crib’s now worth about $3 million, according to appraisers.

The blonde reality star has been living in the house since she married her now-deceased husband Herman Echevarria, the politically-connected businessman who also appeared on the show, in 2004.

But because Herman and Alexia were not married when he bought the house in 2003, his name alone is on the deed, records show.

Herman died of a heart attack a year ago, and the rock pile has been at the heart of a feud between Alexia, who wants to hold on to it, and Herman’s two adult sons from a previous marriage.

Earlier this year, Alexia filed a lawsuit against her stepsons, who are both executors of Herman’s estate.

She wanted a judge to award her exclusive use of the property while Nelson and Herman Echevarria Jr. demanded she leave so they can sell it.

To make matters even more complicated, Alexia and Herman were separated at the time of his death, something Alexia blamed on a “mid-life crisis” that led to “self-destructive behaviors.”

That lawsuit was dismissed, and the fight moved to the probate court where Herman’s estate is being debated.

Alexia isn’t responding to requests for comment.
