MIAMI — There’s a new nut job in town.
Miami-native Maurice Symonette, who stood behind Trump waving a “Blacks for Trump” sign at an Arizona rally on Tuesday, has a long history of insane behavior
Symonette, who calls himself Michael the Black Man and Maurice Woodside, wore a T-shirt reading “Trump & Republicans Are Not Racist” at this week’s gathering in Phoenix.
Symonette, who runs the websites blacksfortrump2020.com and gods2.com, also claims Hillary Clinton has ties to ISIS, the MS-13, a Salvadoran gang from Los Angeles, and the KKK.
“One reason is because Hillary’s last name is Rodham, and their family members are Rothchilds, who enslaved 13,000 slaves as collateral,” he said. “She’s also on camera kissing the head of the Ku Klux Klan and saying, ‘That’s my mentor.’ That’s all on my website.”
Symonette wasted no time travelling from Phoenix to Chicago where he spoke to local radio station on Wednesday.
“I wasn’t placed [behind Trump], I put myself there,” he told WLS-AM 890. “I’m glad I was there so I could get the message out, tell people what’s going on with Democrats and the Cherokee Indians that are absolutely destroying the black man and the white man of America.”
The radio host was surprised Symonette was able to find a spot right behind Trump.
“I don’t really know how it works. They have seen me a lot of times,” Symonette responded.
On his Facebook page, Symonette has posted pics of himself posing with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Donald Trump Jr. He has also uploaded videos of himself at a Gov. Rick Scott rally and at Trump Tower in New York with noted storyteller Kellyanne Conway.
Symonette’s photo album is not limited to Republican rallies though. He has numerous mugshots from his racketeering, firebombing, conspiracy in 14 murders, and grand theft auto days. Strangely, Trump is absent from those.
“I don’t smoke. I don’t drink. I don’t support any kind of activity that goes against what God asks us to do,” he has said. “You can check my record. I’ve never been convicted of anything.”
His rap sheet says otherwise though.
In the early 1990s, Symonette, known then as Maurice Woodside, was arrested with other members of the Temple of Love, a cult whose leader, Yahweh ben Yahweh, Hulon Mitchell Jr. to family and friends, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for conspiracy to commit murder.
During his radio interview, Symonette claimed Yahweh ben Yahweh was “not violent.”
“He got me by just walking up and saying, ‘All white people are the Devil,’” Symonette recalled. “I was a real militant race warrior right then, so I said, ‘Whoa! Yeah, that’s right!’”
In 2008, however, Symonette views shifted when he claimed that Barack Obama, who he calls the Beast, had attempted to have him assassinated.
Symonette also claims that Obama, Clinton and Sen. Al Franken are Cherokee, Oprah Winfrey is the Devil, and Republican Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake, along with Mitt Romney are “white hidden Mormon/Cherokees.” Whatever that means.
He has also stated that “Cherokees are the real KKK Racist Slave Masters, not White Gentiles who are Black Peoples Republican Emancipators!”
Wonder how black people feel about that.
And white people. And Cherokees. And the KKK. It’s hard to believe anyone’s on this guy’s side!
