Things Are Finally Looking Up For Tiger Woods!

JUPITER ISLAND — It’s not all bad for Tiger Woods this summer.

Sure, there’s that pesky DUI that’s being dealt with in Palm Beach County.

And there’s the nudie photos of Woods and his former galpal, skier Lindsey Vonn, that somehow ended up on a porn website.

But just as he once did on the golf course, Woods has just chip-shot one out of a (legal) bunker for an eagle.

Woods and former Surfside cop John Davis agreed to a confidential settlement in a three-year lawsuit filed by Davis after he allegedly hurt himself while working security at Woods’ sprawling beach mansion in Jupiter Island.

“Yes, the lawsuit has been resolved confidentially,” said Michael Feiler, Davis’ Coral Gables attorney. “All parties reached an amicable resolution.”

No word from the intensely private Woods’ team of attorneys.

A source close to the case who didn’t want to be quoted said Davis was “very happy” with the settlement, even if he didn’t get enough cash to retire.

“Tiger’s insurance company didn’t want to put him through some public trial,” the source said. “That’s not what the guy needs right now. So, they took care of it. That’s why Tiger’s insurance premiums are much higher than the average Joe.”

Davis was patrolling Woods’ 8-acre, $50 million property two days before Christmas 2010 when, according to the lawsuit, he fell heavily on wet marble pavement. The lawsuit claims a badly-oriented sprinkler-head caused the marble to become slippery.

Davis twisted his knee and the injury required surgery and months of unemployment.

Davis sued when Woods refused to pay for his medical bills.
