ORLANDO — Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus, 23, gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend.
The Orlando native, who has a five-year-old daughter named Nova, welcomed a 6 lb. 11.6 oz. baby girl named Stella Star on Sunday.
On Saturday night, DeJesus complained of contractions on Twitter, writing, “[Oh my God] I forgot how bad contractions hurt.”
Yesterday, DeJesus posted a picture on Instagram of her new daughter’s footprints, along with a message, “What a blessing,” from the Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee. She also shared a picture of Nova smiling and wearing a “Big Sister” T-shirt.
Back in January, DeJesus told fans on Snapchat, “Looks like Nova won’t be an only child anymore.” In May, she shared a picture of her baby shower, which doubled as her 23rd birthday, writing “God, was today such a hectic day. I had about a million breakdowns but I’m glad I was able to spend my 23rd birthday celebrating my daughter’s baby shower and pulling this off! Stella, you will be loved and everybody can’t wait to meet you!”
Then in June, she shared her daughter Stella’s ultrasound.
DeJesus, who signed on to Teen Mom 2 in March, has starred in MTV’s 16 and Pregnant in 2012, and a Teen Mom spin-off in 2013 while expecting Nova. At the time she was struggling with her relationship with her daughter’s father, Devoin Austin, saying he was “not the best father he should be to Nova.”
Last year, DeJesus underwent several plastic surgery procedures, including liposuction, a butt lift and breast implants, which she dubbed a “mommy makeover.”
Teen Mom 2, starring DeJesus, returns on July 17.
