FORT LAUDERDALE — Things are looking up for Miami Dolphins linebacker Kristian “Kiko” Alonso who just used some of cash from his $29 million contract with the Fins to buy himself a nice little place in Broward.
All things considered, the 26-year-old’s Harbor Beach purchase was on the conservative side for a young buck known for going a little wild!
He spent $1.45 million for a modern 3,093 square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom house with a pool.
The home at 2642 Barbara Drive was built in 1953 and is totally decked out in a chic, futuristic way.
The listing agent James Hoffman said Alonso “loved the ultra-modern look, the quality of materials and the great location.
“It’s a little hidden gem neighborhood,” he added.
Alonso looks like he may be a little hidden gem himself.
After a fair amount of drama in college, including a suspension and a couple of arrests, and a number of injuries as he started his pro career, the former Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles player Alonso seems to finally be coming into his own.
