BOCA RATON — Mean-as-can-be TV Chef Gordon Ramsay loves to skewer his 5.1 million Twitter followers with his salty reviews of their attempts at cooking calling their food: “shiteballs,” “proshiteroles,” “hospital food” and “oven baked fake turds.”
But 50-year-old chef actually had a sweet word for a Boca Raton woman who calls herself Bridgett.
She posted a picture of a pork loin to Ramsay on Twitter with the question: “What do you think of my fiance’s skillet pork loin?”
The acid-tongued Ramsay replied: “Marry him …”
The surprised woman responded, “Omg! Best Response! Thank you!! And marry him, I will!”
In no time, Ramsay’s fans started tweeting their shock that the tough talking chef had a kind word for someone. One fan asked “Did Gordon just say something good about someone else?”
“Another said, “A compliment?!?!”
Ramsay, true to his brand, returned nearly immediately to his scathing reviews of fans’ food.
