SOUTH BEACH — Super buff Food Network celebrity chef Robert Irvine shared his healthy and delicious eating tips with the younger set at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival’s Goya Foods Kidz Kitchen.
The Dinner: Impossible, Chopped: Impossible and Restaurant: Impossible star tried to do the really impossible, turn kids into healthy eaters.
Irvine put on an amazing show for the packed crowd. He brought out a baby alligator and nearly got upstaged by an enthusiastic lemur who jumped onto the food on the prep table.
Healthy eating tip: you can use oranges to season food, and if you do, microwave the fruit for 30 seconds first to really bring out the flavor.
Joining Irvine on stage was former Four Seasons Palm Beach executive chef Darryl Moiles.
Moiles joined Irvine as a corporate chef in 2015 and helps him in the development of new recipes.
