ORLANDO — A Florida-licensed private eye who worked for West Palm Beach resident Casey Anthony during her murder case is claiming the exonerated baby killer traded oral sex for legal advice!
According to federal court papers in Anthony’s bankruptcy case, private investigator Dominic Casey claims in an affidavit he confronted Anthony about her alleged relationship with the lawyer who got her off, Jose Baez.
If true, Dominic Casey’s claim could send Baez into a world of hurt: Florida lawyers are specifically banned from trading sexual favors for representation.
But through an attorney in his firm, Baez blasted the allegations as “false,” saying they are from “an attention-seeking, delusional individual with a history of making false and outrageous claims, not only to court officials but to the media.”
“The source of information is not a deposition, filing by a party or otherwise an official court pleading, it was sent to the Clerk’s office by Dominic Casey, at his sole initiative, as any member of the public could do the exact thing,” the Baez Law Firm’s Dayliset Rielo wrote in an email to Gossip Extra.
Orlando-based private dick Dominic Casey was hired by Baez to work on penniless 30-year-old Anthony’s defense after she was accused of killing her two-year-old daughter Caylee on or about June 6, 2008, then pretended to search for her for months alongside hundreds of volunteers.
Dominic Casey claims, among a slew of allegations, that he busted a naked Casey in Baez’s Orlando office several times. One time, the PI says, she ran away through a conference room and into the law firm’s hallway without any clothes on.
“That night, I told her that she cannot allow him to continue engaging in this behavior,” Dominic Casey claims. “Casey told me she had to do what Jose said because she had no money for her defense.”
Dominic Casey also reported hearing a strange exchange between Baez and Anthony after Baez got her out of a scheduled television interview on the night she was bailed out of jail.
“He (Jose) called the network saying they would have to take a rain check, hung up the phone and said to Casey: ‘You now owe me three blow jobs,’” the PI wrote in an affidavit.
According to the private investigator “the misconduct between Casey and Jose had escalated.”
“I reminded her that Baez had more than enough money from the network he sold her photographs to pay for her defense. Casey apologized and assured me it would not happen again.”
After a trial followed by the news networks gavel to gavel, a jury in Orlando deliberated for 11 hours before it found Anthony not guilty of killing her daughter. She was convicted on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.
According to several Gossip Extra exclusives, Casey Anthony is now living in the El Cid area of West Palm Beach at the house of Pat McKenna, another PI who worked on her case. Anthony is said to have taken up photography as a way to make money.
