PALM BEACH — Kenny Loggins, singer of I’m Alright, gave an intimate performance at the Palm Beach Rhonda’s Kiss Gala to raise money to maintain the dignity of cancer patients.
The iconic singer performed a slew of hits like This is It and Footloose for a crowd of about 200 people at The Breakers Friday night.
Rhonda’s Kiss was started by Marc Stefanski, the CEO of Third Federal Savings and Loan. His wife lost her battle against pancreatic cancer in 2014.
The charity raises money for the non-medical needs of cancer patients, like rent, utility payments, childcare, wigs and transportation to and from appointments.
It’s focus is to help maintain the dignity of people battling the disease by assisting with those everyday costs.
And that’s something to sing about.
