SOUTH BEACH — The best in the business show up once again for the annual South Beach Wine and Food Festival.
And while there are a deluge of highly sought after chefs in attendance this year, a few of the many A-List celebrity chefs who are showcasing their talents and hosting various events include Bobby Flay, Todd English, Guy Fieri, Amanda Freita, Robert Irvine, Emeril Lagasse and Rachael Ray.
Events range anywhere from $20 to $1500 and typically sell out quickly.
This year, the festival will be paying tribute to Chef Jonathan Waxman at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, the host hotel since the festival’s inception 15 years ago.
For $500, you will enjoy a dinner prepared by a variety of chefs including Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence, Marc Forgione and Nancy Silverton to name a few.
Taking the stage for the evening will be the “Potash Twins”, a jazz band that is hand-picked by the man of the evening, Jonathan Waxman.
For $1500, you will enjoy a dinner hosted by Joel Robuchon, considered one of the most highly decorated chefs in the world. Chef Robuchon will be serving up signature culinary concepts in the Miami Design District for those present at this event.
The events got started in Ft. Lauderdale this year with reality star and celebrity chef, Chef Robert Irvine of Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible hosting the Seaside Eats, part of the Taste Fort Lauderdale series.
The setting for Chef Irvine’s event was the historic Bonnet House Museum & Gardens where guests sampled a taste of some of the best South Florida restaurants and got charmed by Irvine during a downpour.
