LAKE WORTH — It’s a David and Goliath story of interspecies rivalry, and it didn’t end well for either!
A 6-foot-8-inch, 385-pound Lake Worth man was bitten by his mother’s 10-pound Shih Tzu, Cujo, after the pair had been play-fighting on Friday night.
So the man, David Etzel, 36, showed that little dog who’s boss: He bit him so hard that the dog’s eye came out!
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report, Cujo’s “right eye was hanging out of the socket” when the dog was brought to the vet.
Etzel was arrested and charged with animal cruelty. He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Cujo? A vet patched it up the best he could, and it should be ok.
