WEST PALM BEACH — A federal court judge in West Palm Beach decided two alleged victims of Palm Beach perv Jeffrey Epstein cannot join a six-year-old lawsuit against the federal government.
Jane Doe 3 and 4, whose real names are not being used because they were underage at the time of the allegations, filed to join the suit last year.
They were thrown off the case last night, although the judge allowed their use as witnesses in the upcoming trial.
Two other women, known as Jane Doe 1 and 2, sued in 2008 claiming that the Justice Department violated their rights when it signed off on a secret deal not to prosecute the politically-connected Epstein.
What’s more, Judge Kenneth Marra ordered that “lurid details” about how Epstein lent his underage sex slaves to friends like British Royal Prince Andrew and famed civil rights lawyer Alan Dershowitz be wiped off the record.
Those details, which shone a worldwide light on Epstein again earlier this year, were made by Jane Doe 3.
She is widely acknowledged to be Virginia Roberts, a former Royal Palm Beach Community School student who may have been as young as 15 when she started traveling the world with Epstein.
She claimed Epstein coaxed her into having sex with Dershowitz, who represented Epstein during the signature of the non-prosecution agreement. Roberts also told authorities that she had sex with Prince Andrew at Epstein-organized orgies in London and New York City.
“The factual details regarding with whom and where the Jane Does engaged in sexual activities are immaterial and impertinent to this central claim . . . especially considering that these details involve non-parties who are not related to the respondent Government. These unnecessary details shall be stricken,” the judge wrote in last night’s decision.
Andrew and Dershowitz denied the allegations, and Dershowitz is suing for defamation.
As for Epstein, he is a registered sex offender in Florida and has to tell authorities his address each time he moves. He pleaded guilty to procuring an underage girl for prostitution and served 18 months in a Palm Beach County jail, at night only.
