WEST PALM BEACH — Identical twin yoga instructors Alison and Ann Dadow are accused of betraying fans and employees after the stealthy closings of their studios in the heart of West Palm Beach and in Palm Beach Gardens.
“A lot of people really trusted them,” said Dalia Soles, who was the general manager at the Dadows’ Twin Power Yoga studios. “The yoga community is a really close-knit group, and once you gain its trust, the community has your back.
“But for all the love they got here, they betrayed everybody — and they had a great following.
“They wanted to be famous and loved, and they never understood that here, they were both.”

In all, Soles tells me, the twins owe two weeks of pay to six ashtanga yoga teachers and two full-time employees after they closed down without warning.
And they owe at least 50 yoga practitioners with yearly memberships, and maybe another 100 short-term clients from a recent Groupon campaign! The Dadows were in business on PGA Boulevard in PBG since 2008 and opened on Clematis in WPB in 2011.

“One yoga teacher received a text message from them, saying that they were closing for renovation,” Soles said. “They said the studios would re-open five days later but never did.”
I’m told the employees and a dozen clients emailed and called the Dadows but received no response.
Quickly, their website was changed and all material showing that they were in business in Palm Beach County was wiped clean.
Soles said the Palm Beach Gardens studio did well, and the twins were known to live high on the hog. They drove matching Porsches and wore the latest fashion.
At the height of their popularity, Soles said, the sisters were routinely swarmed by fans when they came into the studios.
Gossip Extra broke that story last week: The twins, 35, quietly moved to Utah to attempt to start another studio in Park City but turned up in several of the state’s jails on charges stemming from at least five un-Zen incidents within the past four months, including DUI, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.
Alison Dadow called Gossip Extra to ask that we stop reporting on the closings but declined comment.
