WINTER HAVEN — Palm Beach private bank director Chris Havlicek, the son of Boston Celtics great John Havlicek, was nabbed in a prostitution sting near Winter Haven, Gossip Extra has learned exclusively.

Chris Havlicek, 43, a former University of Virginia basketball player, was charged with soliciting for prostitution Friday. Polk County records show he was booked on the misdemeanor charge and promptly released after paying his $250-bail.

Chris Havlicek was among 80 men and women arrested during the four-day operation led by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

According to records, Havlicek allegedly answered an ad in to meet a young lady in a Winter Haven motel, more than two-and-a-half hours north of Palm Beach.

When he got there and jumped in bed, the woman turned out to be a sheriff’s deputy.

Among those arrested were a Florida Department of Corrections probation officer, and a 16-year girl who responded to another phony ad asking to recruit hookers. Others included Orlando lawyer Richard Sierra as well as a man whose arrest was the third in a sheriff’s sting.

Chris Havlicek, who lives in Palm Beach Gardens, is the managing director of Palm Beach’s JP Morgan Chase. He is also on the board of directors of the Kravis Center.

His particularly rude assistant hung up on Gossip Extra when we called to ask her boss for comment.

Nicknamed Hondo, dad John Havlicek won eight NBA titles with Boston and is considered one of the best basketball defenders in history.

Now 73, Hondo’s been living in West Palm Beach since 1993.
