St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina wants to be safe at home — literally.

Molina, 31, who’s expected to make a mark on the upcoming playoff series with the Cards, is having a safe room built in his fancy Jupiter mansion!

Of course, that’s something he’d want to keep quiet.

But Wanda Molina, his wife, just applied for a permit for a safe room and a new garage.

It was a Gossip Extra exclusive: The Molinas bought a $7.15 million-crib last year in the Island Cove development of Jupiter.

From the realtors’ brochure, it looked like the crib had everything, including 300 feet of Intracoastal waterfront.

Everything except a safe room — a must with celebrities worried that their house will get attacked by kidnappers, terrorists, angry neighbors and/or zombies!

I’m told this panic room is expected to have television monitors showing live video from the rest house, food for several days and all the trappings of Molina’s $75 million-contract.

glad to see someone finally bought that place, been on the mkt forever, I lived on Reach Island just across the river. Custom home builder Simmons built that house for his wife Laurie until the bottom fell out in 07. I am sure her garish Interior Design firm in next to Maurice Antique pine is in the dumpster as well.
