His waterfront home in Jupiter Island could be sinking!

According to public records in Martin County, Woods is having a contractor shore up his 10,000-square-foot modern crib.

An insider tells Gossip Extra exclusively that Woods and current squeeze Lindsey Vonn noticed cracks in walls and doors rubbing on the ground, sure signs of trouble.

A contractor is about to attempt to stabilize the structure by inserting giant screws called “helical piles” as far as 24 feet into the ground, according to county records.

Typically, contractors use about 15 of the screws in a house the size of Woods’, at $1,000 per. By the way, Martin authorities claim the house is worth $2 million.

“This sort of thing occurs quite a bit in Florida,” said Skip Barrett of South Coast Foundation Systems in Deerfield Beach. Barrett’s company is not involved with the work at Woods’ but Barrett said it performs similar work almost daily.

“In Florida, the soil has layers of organic matter that eventually decomposes,” Barrett said. “Once that happens, many homes start sinking.”

Woods is obviously taking care of his property. He has to: Elin Nordegren, his ex-wife, holds a $54 million-mortgage on the house!
