flag-breaking-newsElin Nordegren‘s billionaire BF is caught in the kind of controversy that’d make him an undesirable in the environment-conscious Sweden, where Tiger Woods‘ ex-wife was born!

A iron-ore company owned by North Palm Beach tycoon Chris Cline, who’s been dating the divorcee since last year, hired private military-style guards armed to the teeth to keep environmentalists in Northern Wisconsin at bay.

Photos of men wearing Special Ops camouflage uniforms, masks and automatic weapons while guarding Cline’s scientists who test rocks have sprung up online, outraging locals and some politicians.

The armed men are working for Gogebic Taconite, a Cline company whose officials believe that the pristine forests could yield up to 2 billion tons of ore.

Thing is: Mining could also soil the underground water used by thousands — and environmentalists are hoping Nordegren could do to Cline what she allegedly did to Woods on the night of his infamous 2009 car crash.

“We’re sending Tiger Woods’ ex-wife a 9-iron,” said Frank Koehn, an anti-mining activist. “Maybe she can do a number on Chris Cline.

“With the mercenaries he hired, Chris Cline shows that he’s just another rich guy who’ll try to take our resources and pollute our water.

“It’s not the first time this happened, and they’ve all failed. He will, too.”

Taconite officials have told Wisconsin reporters that ninja-like environmentalists attacked its workers and vandalized equipment.

The company, they said, was forced to hire guards to protect workers.

Calls for comment made to Cline’s Palm Beach Gardens office were not returned.
