Sexy women, including Miami Dolphins’ First Lady Lauren Tannehill and a slew of cheerleaders, and big fish: What could possibly be better for Ernest Hemingway wannabes out there!
The two converged for the yearly Dolphins fishing tournament fundraiser in Miami Beach over the weekend. Two dozen boats stuffed with former and current players, team staff and fans took to the sea in search for the biggest wahoo, tuna, shark, kingfish and sailfish.
All right, you greenies: Most of the catches were released — and almost $800,000 swam into the team’s nets and will be distributed to charities.
By the time the teal-and-orange fleet was back at the Miami Beach Marina, journeyman linebacker Lee Robinson had the winner in a 47.9-pound kingfish!
General Manager Jeff Ireland, meanwhile, appeared to be better at reeling in fish than big recruits: He won the junior category with a 28.7-pound tuna.
The grand prize, though, was probably being greeted to the docks by a bikini top wearing Tannehill!
Among the active Dolphins stars in the tournament were quarterback Ryan Tannehill (Lauren’s husband) and punter Brandon Fields (below).
