flag-exclusiveFormer NBA star Kenny Anderson lost his only paying gig this week in the wake of a DUI arrest near his home in Pembroke Pines.

Anderson, 42, worked as boys basketball coach at the private David Posnack Jewish Day School in Davie.

Anderson, the ex-husband of Basketball Wives star Tami Roman, was signed with great fanfare in 2011 with the hope he’d lead the Rams to respectability in a tough urban league.

That didn’t happen.

“Kenny Anderson will not be returning as head basketball coach next season for the David Posnack Jewish Day School,” Athletic Director Danny Herz wrote in a statement.

Anderson, a 14-year veteran of NBA who scored more than 10,000 points, is not teaching at the school. He is believed to have made $60 million playing ball but has lost most of his fortune.

When the school signed the former college All-American, then-Athletic Director Mitch Evron pronounced himself “tickled pink.”

Anderson, however, couldn’t bag more wins than losses over his two seasons.

Three months after his signing, Anderson was charged with leaving the scene of an accident in Miramar after crashing his SUV into two trees.

Cops suspected he was drunk but didn’t charge him with DUI because he walked away. A judge withheld adjudication on the leaving the scene charge.

Then about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Anderson was pulled over near his home in Pembroke Pines for driving erratically and charged with DUI.

He was charged with DUI and booked into the county jail. He’s out on $500-bond.

Michael Grieco, his attorney, declined comment.
