Going somewhere, Andy Enfield?
Enfield, coach of the NCAA hoops tournament’s Cinderella story Florida Gulf Coast University, has quietly put up for sale his house near the Fort Myers school, Gossip Extra has learned exclusively.
And according to public records, he hasn’t purchased another one in the area!
Even more telling: Enfield’s selling the 3,400-square-foot home in the city’s Renaissance gated golf community at a $75,000-loss — like he is in a hurry to leave town!
Enfield shot to fame this weekend after his lowly-ranked Eagles beat powerhouses Georgetown and San Diego State to a pulp, and became the first 15th seeded team ever to quality for next weekend’s Sweet 16.
Lee County records show Enfield and his ex-lingerie model wife Amanda Marcum bought the three-bedroom house in June 2011 for $750,000, most of it in cash.
It’s been on the market for $675,000 since late December!
School officials have yet to comment about the sale, and whether they believe their suddenly famous coach is about to up and quit.
