Guess there’s no better way to spend time with your family than in a shrink’s office!
Mexican singer Paulina Rubio and her estranged husband Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera have been ordered to undergo psychological counseling in a hearing in Miami-Dade County family court!
The pair has been battling it out over the custody of their 2 year-old son in Miami.
But after some particularly nasty words in court, the judge ordered that the couple receive counseling and to return in June after five months of treatment.
Paulina apparently even hired a private eye to prove that her ex is an unfit father in order to gain full custody of their son.
The singer of La Chica Dorada and Vallejo-Nágera have been separated since March 2012. Paulina alleges that the reason they are not yet divorced is because Nicolás refuses to sign the papers.
Rubio’s lawyers had a hard time controlling her during the hearing. She was adamant that she doesn’t want shared custody.
“His only claim to fame is that he is the father of my child,” Rubio said.
