The re-election of President Barack Obama made some Florida business owners happy.

Take Knight’s Armament, a Titusville manufacturer of high-power rifles for the military.

The company, which builds sniper rifles for Delta Force and Navy SEALS, saw its online civilian business jump Tuesday night as election returns made it increasingly clear Obama would remain in the White House.

Kinght’s M-4 and M-110-style assault rifles were going like hot cakes!

“We sold about 20 times more rifles that night than we do on an average night,” said company honcho Erik Johnson, a Tequesta resident.  “Before the broadcasts were done, we sold 150 rifles (at $2,500 to $5,000 a piece) instead of five or six on a regular night.”

“People who are into guns are worried Obama is going to go for more gun control now that he can push through any legislation he wants without fearing the retribution of voters,” Johnson said. “Everybody’s stockpiling!”
