Dina Keever, the Republican candidate for Palm Beach County State Attorney has been sued for not paying helpers — for the second time during the campaign!
Ken Menard, the Charlotte, N.C., dude who built the lady’s campaign website in May, sued her Friday because she yet has to pay for some of his services.
Total amount, according to the lawsuit: $260, and 90 whole cents!
Wouldn’t be a big deal if this weren’t the second time in three months that Keever is being accused of not paying her political bills.
In July, local Republican honcho Margi Helschien, then Keever’s campaign manager, sued for $4,000.
Keever unilaterally decided to cut Helschien’s salary to $1,000 a month, from $4,000. Helschien wouldn’t have it and quit, and has yet to get her last month’s pay.
Keever, a rare GOPer endorsed by The Palm Beach Post, is going against Democrat and race favorite Dave Aronberg tomorrow.
Keever has not responded to a message left on her cell phone about the latest court filing.
