The hard-partying Kid’s new digs, at 11 Ocean Drive, are just a guitar pick’s flick away from Grease star Newton-John’s home, in the northern edge of Palm Beach County.
The 42-year-old Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, seems to have gotten a deal, even though the 5-bed, 3-bath, 6,700-square-foot house is valued by county authorities at about $2.7 million, according to records.

The house was owned by medical books writer Elke H. Kwapinski, who died a year ago. MLS records show it hit the market at $4.3 million shortly after her death.
With full view of the Atlantic Ocean on over 90 feet of frontage, Kid Rock’s new crib was built in 1959 — and it shows. The floors are covered with shag carpet, the outside walls could use a fresh coat of paint and modern upgrades are sorely needed.
The word in the real estate community is that Kid Rock will soon tear the house down and rebuild something to his liking.
The Town of Jupiter Inlet Colony has a population of about 400 cramped on a few city blocks of zero lot-line properties. While considered upscale, Jupiter Inlet Colony is no match for its much richer neighbor to the north, Jupiter Island, home of golfer Tiger Woods and Canadian songbirg Celine Dion.
Kid Rock, the stringy-haired singer of American Badass and Cowboy has been as famous for the company he’s kept as for his music as of late. Earlier this week, Kid Rock endorsed Mitt Romney for GOP presidential candidate. And he was briefly married to pinup Pamela Anderson in 2006-07.
