A spokesman for Trump said the tycoon will be reimbursing the tickets, which cost between $3,000 and $10,000.
“In addition, Mr. Trump will be throwing a nice party on Saturday for everybody who had tickets, on him,” the spokeswoman said. “We may reschedule the show for sometime next season. Celine Dion isn’t someone who cancels lightly.”
“Celine and her whole family are under the weather,” said Kim Jakwerth, Dion’s L.A. spokeswoman. “She’s got a month off and she’s stuck. She was supposed to start recording a new album on Sunday and she wasn’t able to. I’m sure she’ll reschedule.”
At least, Trump appears to be taking this bail out better than the last one. A year ago, Trump accused hip-hop superstar Rihanna of lacking respect when she claimed she was too ill to fly for a Mar-a-Lago concert then turned up at the NBA All-Star game.
