Boca Retiree: Chelsea Clinton’s hotter in Person Than in Photos!

It’s not easy to impress Boca Raton resident Irwin Stovroff.

After all, the 89-year-old former furniture salesman has seen it all: He flew bombers during World War II, survived a crash in France during his 35th mission and was made prisoner by the Nazis.

But Stovroff’s still talking about getting a surprise visit from Chelsea Clinton the other day.

Yup! That Chelsea Clinton.

Now a television reporter (and rumored to be soon an ex-TV reporter), the 31-year-old daughter of former Prez Bill and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spent five hours interviewing Stovroff at his home.

Clinton works for NBC, and her Making a Difference segment of Stovroff just aired on Brian WilliamsNightly News (above). Stovroff knew he was going to be interviewed, but he didn’t know by whom.

“They had three trucks in front of my house and who walks in but Chelsea Clinton,” Stovroff says. “Man, she’s much prettier in person than she is in photos. And very charming and patient. She kept saying she’d never met anyone like me, but this was the first time she interviewed someone.”

How is Stovroff Making a Difference? He runs the charity vetshelpingheroes.org, which buys expensive service dogs, mostly Labs, for wounded South Florida vets.

“She’s a perfectionist,” Stovroff said. “She had me do stuff over and over again until it was perfect. Her family should be proud of her.”

Stovroff, meawhile, asked Chelsea for an autographed photo of her dad. It showed up two days later via Fedex!
