The Palm Beach Policemen’s Ball was stacked with celebrities and billionaires last night at Donald Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
Rocker Rod Stewart, he of Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Sailing and Young Turks, was accompanied by wife Penny Lancaster and legendary music producer David Foster (winner of 16 Grammys and the producer of such talent as Celine Dion, Madonna and Michael Jackson).

The group simply traveled a couple miles north of Stewart’s beachfront mansion to pay homage to Palm Beach’s Finest. Stewart was greeted by the Palm Beach Pipes and Drums playing a rousing rendition of the Scottish national anthem, Flower of Scotland!
Stewart, who has the reputation of being the cheapest man in showbiz, actually pulled out his wallet after a bidding war for Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw‘s auction item: a sheriff-for-one-day package that includes lunch with Bradshaw, a visit of the county jail, meetings with SWAT team members and crime scene techs, and for the grand finale, a ride on PBSO’s sleek helicopter.
Stewart as well as billionaire and former candidate for U.S. Senate Jeff Greene and philanthropist Michelle Herbert duked it out for the sheriff’s package. In the end, all three won — for $18,000 each!
Most of the yearly ball’s proceeds go to the Palm Beach Police Foundation’s scholarship fund for the children of Palm Beach cops.

The Real Housewives of New York's Ramona Singer was pushing her pinot grigio (Click on the Mike Jachles photo for more pictures of the event)
Nearly 500 locals attending the wingding, alongside The Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer, who’s filming the Bravo series’ fifth season. The sexy Singer brought with her a couple cases of her Ramona pinot grigio, which retail in stores for $12.99 a pop. She also offered an auction item, lunch with Ramona in New York City, which went for $5,000!
Sheriff Bradshaw’s wife Dorothy, who rarely attends Palm Beach shindigs, insisted on her hubby introducing her to Stewart. The singer had her blushing like a school girl!
