It sure pays to be the Right’s water-carrier, kids!
He snagged the ranch-like place in Redland, an unincorporated farming area known for its organic strawberries, for $1.45 million cash.
It’s the 45-year-old Drudge’s second big home purchase in the county. According to records with the Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser’s Office, Drudge also owns a $1.4 million crib off the Venetian Causeway in Miami Beach. He bought that one in 2003.
The often-reclusive Drudge didn’t respond to a request for an interview.
His new property on Southwest 157th Avenue, meanwhile, boasts almost five acres of lush forest and a five-bedroom, 6,400-square-foot ranch house.
It was described in real estate websites as a safari-like tropical retreat with a world-class security camera system, large entertainment gazebo, soothing waterfall in the master bathroom and a large Jacuzzi.
Sounds like Drudge will be able to entertain the likes of Karl Rove in perfect privacy! (Check out the video, below, of a wedding on the property in 2010)
