Marlins Hero Livan Hernandez in Foreclosure!

Ex-Marlin Livan Hernandez, now with the Nats

Former Florida Marlins hero Livan Hernandez, who pitched the Fish to wins in games 1 and 5 of the ‘97 World Series, is in the sights of SunTrust Bank.

SunTrust is trying to foreclose on his Miami home, but it’s also after the current Washington Nationals hurler for not reimbursing half a mil in lines of credit.

No comment from the 35-year-old right-hander.

Court papers show the Cuban ex-pat stopped paying the $1.5 million mortgage on his $1.1 million Bay Point Estates home in January 2009.

He was served with the lawsuit that accuses him of ceasing to pay back the equity lines at the Nats’ ballpark.

After 15 years in the majors, Hernandez is making a base salary of $1.25 million.
