There’s got to be some kind of housewife convention in the area because Gossip Extra‘s paps have been running into some reality TV’s favorite ladies throughout South Florida: The Real Housewives of Miami‘s Marysol Patton (left), now filming her second season on Bravo; Mob Wives‘ Renee Graziano (middle), whose second season is now airing on VH-1; and Ramona Singer (right), currently filming her fifth season on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City.
A rumor spread like wildfire in the Wellington real estate biz over the weekend that music superstar Lady Gaga is looking for property in the equestrian village.
Sounds crazy?

Microsoft founder Bill Gates, of all people, paid $600,000 for a winter rental in Wellington’s horse country, and his peeps are quietly looking for a permanent place. Rocker Bruce Springsteen has had a place in the village for six years. Men in Black‘s Tommy Lee Jones is another prominent Welly resident, as is former Good Morning America star Joan Lunden. And Madonna once took polo lessons and briefly looked for a pad but picked Long Island instead.
But Lady Gaga? (more…)

The sale price, according to records, was $585,000. The buyers: local real estate investors Ellen and Anspar Holtgers.

Still, you know what they say: The rich get richer!
Bloomberg’s mom Susan bought the four-bed, three-bath crib on the edge of a natural pond for $448,000 in 2001. She then quick-deeded the house to Georgina in 2003, and it became Georgina’s main house.

Georgina first put the sparingly-furnished Stroller Way place up for sale in May 2010 for $825,000, according to records.
The sale, meanwhile, doesn’t mean that hottie Bloomberg, a professional-grade equestrian, is abandoning the village.
“She’s been spending more time at her dad’s house,” says equestrian sports commentator Mason Phelps. “Her dad’s property has a barn where she can train. Her little house has zero lot line.”

Doutzen Kroes (in blue), Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel strike a sexy pose for Transformers director Michael Bay at the home of New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez (Click on the photo for more)
The most incredible thing about this weekend’s photo shoot at the Miami Beach home of New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez isn’t just the view: It’s also the fact that horned dog A-Rod was nowhere in sight!
While Rodriguez spotted with his buff galpal Torrie Wilson in frigid NYC, a slew of Victoria’s Secret beauties took over his bachelor pad.

And when the cat’s away, . . . . Nah! It was all work and no play!
The angels spent two days striking sexy poses in bikinis and lingerie for Transformers director Michael Bay, who for once stood behind a still camera.
And in case you didn’t recognize them from the angle above, that’s Candice Swanepoel (left), Behati Prinsloo and Doutzen Kroes strutting their stuff!
Rodriguez’s North Bay Road crib, meanwhile, has been a welcomed addition to the area for paparazzi and celebrity watchers who sometimes enjoy the action from boats.
Last month, the baseball superstar was spotted frolicking poolside with the muscle-bound Wilson just weeks after they started dating.
Rookie WPLG-Channel 10 investigative reporter Bob Norman got a nice present with a bow on top from the Broward County State Attorney’s office last week.
With Norman facing a misdemeanor trespassing charge in connection with an on-the-job incident, S.A. Michael Satz’s people notified him he won’t be prosecuted.
Still, according to the SA’s letter to Norman, he violated the trespass statute and could’ve ended up in the back of a squad car!
Norman allegedly entered without permission a Parkland horse-farm that’s the target of a lawsuit from neighbors. (more…)

Rocker Dave Matthews left his family vacation and hightailed it to Palm Beach for the annual Everglades Foundation gala.
He played for an hour. Unplugged. And free of charge.

That’s the kind of commitment that the Foundation, which funds cleanup and research efforts in the River of Grass, sparks in celebrities (country star Kenny Chesney and Sting preceded Matthews over the past two years), volunteers, donors and staff.

Just ask 11-time surfing world champ Kelly Slater, who was the honorary chair. He was on his way to Australia for the beginning of surf season there but made a stop by The Breakers for Friday’s event.

“Cleaning the Everglades is something that’s close to my heart,” said the bald surfing machine. “I was born and raised in Cocoa Beach, so I understand how important it is.”
And the gala, themed ”surfer chic” this year, has become by far the largest and richest society event of the Palm Beach season — never mind that the non-profit foundation is based in Miami!
It was expected to raise $2.1 million in one night, according to publicist Cheryl Crowley. (more…)
